The weekend was fun.... and just a little testosterone was
flying on Flag Island...... but it was all good!!!!
Let's talk about hot weather since I really don't feel like toting your
dead a$$ down the River.......
Alcohol is all good and fine (in moderation), but it takes affect
nearly twice as quick when it 90 degrees outside and dehydration
can hit you really, really bad and make your hangover even
worse. Oh, and it can cause heat stroke which can kill you....
Mix some gatorade and water in between those beers....
I've seen way to many sun burnt butts on the Island this year.....
The peeling sucks, the pain hurts and all your buddies will be
slapping your back all week...... Girls, your skin will look like
leather when your 45 (think tanning lady in "Something about Mary")
And sun poisoning sucks.
Stop by Wally World and get the Sports Spray, lasts all day
even when ya get in the river to pee. Bullfrog is even better.
Find some shade every now and then, get in the river, take a nice
boat ride and catch a breeze..... it's only going to get hotter and
learning how to "keep cool" is a big must on Flag Island. And
it prevents that sucky heat stroke thing......
Remember, the hospital is a long way away.......
