got the new motor yesterday and got it mounted on the motor stand. Can we say gorgeous? Still waiting on pulling the old block. It was supposed to have been done yesterday but Rob at blue water called me and said they had a boat stuck under the hoist. Who ever knew mounting a new motor to a motor stand was such a pain in the butt? lol! I have all next week off so hopefully I'll have the old block out and the new block in. after that its just a matter of a good day's work to get it all together and running! I'll throw up a few pics this evening......

Then I have to bolt the intake down, the carb, reconnect everything, do the timing and i'll pray it starts! Some pics for you guys, trust me, I'll never go thru this again, this has been a pain, but the end is in sight!

Motor is in the boat! YAY! I have the top end rebuild to finish. I've decided to go ahead and take it to blue water and let them finish it up for me so I know it's right. I'm no mechanic and have gone far enough. I dont want to blow up my new motor! It's off to blue water today! Total cost to fisnish up: $1500.00 with an eta of two weeks!
